This 1991 GMC Vandura 2500 was modified when new by Starcraft with an extended-height roof and a custom interior featuring swiveling rear captain’s chairs, a power-sliding third-row bench seat, a television, a custom audio system, storage cabinets, and wood trim. The van is finished in Frost White with red and gray accents over gray velour upholstery, and is powered by a 5.7-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Additional features include 15″ Rally wheels, running boards, a fold-down front step, a rear step ladder, rear air conditioning, reading lights, privacy shades, a clothes bar, and an ice chest. This Vandura is now offered with a window sticker, original purchase documentation, service records, manufacturer’s literature, a portable toilet, a clean Carfax report, and a clean title.
The high-top van is finished in Frost White with red and gray accents. Details include running boards, a fold-down front step, a rear step ladder, tinted windows, driving lights, folding side mirrors, and chrome bumpers.
The 15″ Rally wheels are mounted with 225/75 Goodyear Invicta GS tires, and a spare is mounted to the rear door with a hard cover displaying Starcraft graphics. Stopping power is provided by front discs and rear drums. The van is equipped with independent front suspension and a front stabilizer bar. Work in preparation for the sale included replacing the right front brake caliper flex line and bleeding the brake system.
The forward cabin houses captain’s chairs upholstered in gray velour, while wood trim accents the dashboard and door panels. Appointments include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, air conditioning, an AM/FM/cassette stereo with a graphic equalizer, and power windows and door locks. The air conditioning system was recharged in preparation for the sale.
The tilting four-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 29k miles.
Cargo-hinged side doors provide access to the rear passenger compartment, which is outfitted with swiveling captain’s chairs and a power-sliding third-row bench that folds flat into a bed. Additional equipment includes a TV, an ice chest, a clothes bar, reading lights, a vacuum, privacy blinds, and upper storage cabinets as well as additional storage below the third-row bench.
The 5.7-liter V8 was factory rated at 185 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Work in preparation for the sale included replacing the fuel filter, pump, and strainer, as well as performing an oil change.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The muffler was replaced in preparation for the sale.
